Weird for kids
I'm not sure what the producers were going for when they released this movie. There are elements which are clearly not for children, with murders, kidnappings and the child abuse of small kids and yet it clearly is demonstrating a family friendly approach with its posters and marketing campaign.
This was an OK movie, not really good enough for adults and most definitely NOT for children. Why people still think of this as being a family movie is beyond me.
