Scorsese's Best
Martin Scorsese is one of the best directors in film history and while some claim that Taxi Driver or Raging Bull are the definitive Scorsese films, I say Goodfellas is his true masterpiece.
An insanely entertaining ride from beginning to end, the film it's pretty fast-paced and has so many memorable scenes, characters and lines that's it's hard to keep track of them.
Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta and Joe Pesci (Oscar for his performance) are just superb and the supporting cast as well.
One of the best mafia movies ever made, in fact, one of the best movies in general ever made, Scorsese's brutal look at the mob and the people in it and around it is just breathtaking.
