Movie Review by Misty
February 16th, 2007

One of my faves!

I remember watching Ghost Dad just about every day after school at my grandmother's house. I absolutely love Bill Cosby, not so much for his acting or comedy, just becuase he's always done things for the kids and he knew how to make me feel good when I was younger. He has the greatest funny faces and voices and a very compassionate heart.

Ghost Dad is about a father (Cosby) that gets into a cab with a maniac driver that ends up wrecking...sending the dad over a bridge and into the river below. After the wreck we see Cosby climbing up the side of the hill soaking wet from the river cursing the cab driver under his breath the whole way up. He then tries to wave down a trucker to get back into town and it's then that he finds out that he's a ghost, because the truck drives right through him. He also tries to talk to a CHP officer that's on the site of the accident, but he can't hear him or see him.
Cosby finds his way back to his family and surprisingly his kids can see him. He goes through so many things as a ghost, including telling off guys that are talking to his daughter, trying to make presentations at his office so he doesn't lose his job, and trying to have a physical at the doctor's office without having a body.
Some parts are funny and some are sad, but the ending is pretty cool. I'd definitely recommend this flick to any who haven't yet seen it. I loved it.
