Favorite Movie Quotes:
we are angels to some & demons to others- pinhead from hellraiser

the path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. and i will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. and you will know my name is the lord when i lay my vengeance upon thee. -jules from pulp fiction

the still waters of the water under a frond of stars. the still waters of your mouth under a thicket of kisses. -frannie from in the cut

ah, yes, that's typical western thought. civilised isn't it? that's what alan thought and that's why he's dead. the yacumo indian is a primitive and he has to be respected as such. you know, did you ever think of the yacumo point of view? that we might be the savages?-professor harold monroe from cannibal holocaust

a man's attitude... a man's attitude goes some ways. the way his life will be. is that somethin' you agree with?- cowboy from mulholland drive

any of you boys want to shoot, now's the time. there isn't one of us that doesn't want to be someplace else. but this is what we do, who we are. live for nothing, or die for something. your call.- john rambo from rambo

what you've got to realize is that the clever cook puts unlikely things together, like duck and orange, like pineapple and ham. tt's called 'artistry'. you know, i am an artist the way i combine my business and my pleasure: money's my business, eating's my pleasure and georgie's my pleasure, too, though in a more private kind of way than stuffing the mouth and feeding the sewers, though the pleasures are related because the naughty bits and the dirty bits are so close together that it just goes to show how eating and sex are related. georgie's naughty bits are nicely related, aren't they, georgie?-albert from the cook, the thief, his wife & her lover

i'm of legal age for whiskey, voting and loving. now the next election is two years away, and my love life ain't getting much better, so how about some of that one-hundred-percent!- billie from faster, pussycat! kill! kill!

as my dear departed friend lotus weinstock used to say: "i used to wanna change the world. now i just wanna leave the room with a little dignity."-justin bond from shortbus

My Interests:

About Me:
I'll admit that I've become somewhat of a blogging junkie or text monster in the past few years and writing is somewhat therapeutic for me. In fact, I used to secretly daydream about being an acclaimed writer in the south in between classes during my high school years. I have written movie reviews for various websites through the years & currently have a bi-weekly column right here on Matchflick. You're welcome to stop by anytime & your feedback is always appreciated. On the same token, please keep yourself away if you're just a troll here to create a bunch of unnecessary. There are always a few bad apples who think they can spoil the whole bunch for no apparent reason. I suggest we dial 1-800-Troll-Free and get rid of those pests.
