I am (moderately) hard at work on a study of the prizefighter as portrayed in American cinema. You can read what I had to say about the original "Cat People" in "Film Noir Reader 4" from Silver & Ursini. Fantasy Sports are also a big interest of mine as of late. I think "Six Feet Under" is the best TV show I've ever seen. "Nip / Tuck" is the next best thing.
