Default Good Question, Mike

I think HELLBOY is actually the more complex film experience and probably the better movie(s). But there's not denying the great thrill ride that IRON MAN was. Very enjoyable.

You mean which one had a better sequel?

I loved that Ironman 2 had Mickey Rourke as the bad guy. I thought it dragged just a little though.
I would rather watch Hellboy because it mixes comics with fantasy and the makeup, costume and set design is much more visually stimulating.
Ironman is truer to reality and could actually happen which could be scarier.
I couldnt say one was better than the other, but I got more into Golden Army.

One thing that BOTH sequels did that drives me nuts: the climactic fights are going along fine and then lack of imagination or ingenuity strikes aaaaannnnddd...all the bad guys are wiped out just like that. If you could do that in the first place then why didn't you just do that?

Though I will say that Iron Man 2 featured Scarlett Johannson poured into black stealth threads. Rowr.

Thumbs up Iron Man

I think Iron Man doesn't get credit for everything it has going on. Without deconstructing it scene by scene and/or repeating my posted review, I'll just say that the gap between The Dark Knight and Iron Man is not that wide for me. On the other hand, while Hellboy has been a decently made adaptation of much less accessable and obscure source material, it lags behind these other two (three, if you include Batman Begins) films.

Iron Man 2, on the other hand, was a disappointment bathed in mediocrity worse than Carrie got doused with pig's blood; I have not yet seen Hellboy 2 start to finish, but I will say that Guillermo Del Toro style is so pervasive that it's beginning to become redundant. Placing eyes in strange places can't be groundbreaking forever.

Accoding to me!!!! Iron man is a fabulous movie. The whole plot of this movie is mind blowing. All the scenes and characters are superb.

I always prefer Iron man because this is my favorite hero. Still I have watched part 1 or part 2 both are awesome and more entertaining.

Thumbs down To Hell With Hellboy!

I thought that Hellboy as a character was just too much of a gutless suck, and not enough of a rampaging bad-boy for my liking.
