The Dream Team (1989)

A good intentioned doctor gets permission to take his group of mental
patients out of the hospital for the day to go to a baseball game. Once
in the city, the doctor becomes the victim of a crime and is sent to the
hospital, leaving his patients to fend for themselves in the city.
