Spike Lee's follow-up to his unlikely hit She's Gotta Have It was this ambitious--some would say too ambitious--attempt at a musical about college life. Plugged as a Musical/Comedy, School Daze has surely got to be one of the screwiest films from that genre that I've ever seen.
First off - There were only 3 Musical Numbers in the entire flick. And only 1 of these 3 numbers was at all worthwhile to watch. The other 2 seemed to have been inserted into the film as filler to...
