Gleaming the Cube (1988)
description written by member Zara:
Brian's adopted brother is killed when he discovers that the shop he works in sends weapons to Vietnam instead of medications. To the police it looks like suicide, but Brian knows better so he skates off to investigate the murder himself.

When I went to see this movie in the theaters when it was released, I assumed it was a story about a skate boarder. I really didn't look deeper into the movie because I just liked (as a skateboarder myself) the idea of watching Christian Slater with frosted tips surf the pavement.
However, the movie features much more...
