The story of one soldier in the Vietnam war who survives after his plane is hit by a missile. He must make his daring escape through active enemy and with a hurt leg. Armed with a flashlight, map and a .45 caliber pistol he designs an escape route based on golf course greens that him and his military friend played together. Bat 21 Movie Review by Douglas (3/2/2007)

Clever, gutsy movie that keeps you involved in the story. This well-directed movie made you feel like you are alongside the downed pilot and emphatize with every emotion. Well done. Kudos to the director, Peter Markle, and to Gene Hackman.
