"The Stepfather" has all the hallmarks of a cheesy 80's horror movie; There is a lot of overacting, characters doing the dumbest things (there wouldn't be a movie otherwise), a synthesizer score that has aged as well as the movie (which is to say, not at all), and a brutal killing or two. I remember when Siskel & Ebert...
