The Lost Boys (1987)

A mother takes her 2 sons to California to move in with her father after her recent divorce. The oldest son makes friends with the wrong crowd and the younger makes friends with a couple boys claiming to hunt vampires. Strange murders are happening around and the oldest brother learns that he might have been transformed to a vampire by his new found friends. The younger brother must now try and save him.

This was before Joel Schumacher started making really bad films like Showgirls and the last two Batman flicks so it's still pretty good.
