Hoosiers 1986

From Amazon: One of the most rousingly enjoyable sports movies ever made, this small-town drama tells the story of the Hickory Huskers, an underdog basketball team from a tiny Indiana high school that makes it all the way to the state championship tournament. Hoosiers Movie Review by Derringer (9/12/2008)


I'm definitely no Basketball fan. No way, Jose. I would've never thought that I'd actually enjoy HOOSIERS as much as I did. But I did. I sure did. I even viewed it for a 2nd time.

I think that a big part of HOOSIERS' appeal is that the story is based (loosely) on actual events...

A dull film about a small town, all-white basketball team that makes it to the Indiana State Championships. I am not much one for sport's movies, however some have touched me in the past. This snorer starring Gene Hackman was not worth my time. Blah.
