Big Trouble in Little China (1986)

Once you settle into the realization that this 1986 John Carpenter (Halloween) film is not going to be one of the director's more masterful works, Big Trouble in Little China just becomes a full-tilt comic blast. This is a classic. The swaggering macho hero. The hard nosed, but vulnerable heroin. And a cast of colorful sidekicks in a magical romp in the Chinese underworld.
Action, Comedy, crazy old Chinese mystics, don't just rent it, BUY IT!
