Silverado 1985

Silverado is a bit of a boggle to me. On one hand, it's bright, often cheery, a stampede of western cliches, and has one of the most massive dangling plot threads this side of the Rio Grande. . . . and I don't like westerns! So, I've grown up being forced to watch B&W old westerns. My dad loves westerns. I can't get him off of the Encore Western channel. I appreciate what a good western has to have to be good but I just really don't get into them.
