The Goonies (1985)
description written by member Tim:
This 1980's classic film follows the story of the Goonies, a group of kids who embark on a treasure hunt to find gold and riches in hopes of saving all of their parents from having to sell their homes to a real estate company that plans to demolish them. Filled with action, suspense, and comedy this is a great adventure story that stands up still to this day.
