Teachers (1984)

A drama that was originally marketed as being a dark comedy, this movie
follows a teacher trying to overcome his apathy teaching at a school
where all the students are flunking out and none of the other teachers
seem to care about teaching anymore. In an attempt to help his
students, he (Nolte) actually ends up getting in trouble with the
school board.
