I used to eat so much with my hands when I was a little kid that my parents would joke that my prom night dinner would look much like Daryl Hannah as she chomps into the lobster in this movie.
There is a lot of bittersweet comedy to this movie, a tale about a man who falls overboard on a ship and is rescued by a mermaid....

I am not a big Ron Howard fan. Most of his films come out like Speilberg lite, however this is more Zemeckis if anything and it suits him.
