I tuned into this because it was Johnny Depp's first movie and I wanted to see what he was like at 21 years old. I hardly recognized him. I really didn't at first. I had to keep staring and I still wasn't sure.

Watching this film now, its a little bit corny. 23 years later, this film looks like a low budget new wave indie film that really sucks. Except this movie is good. Freddy Krueger is a freaky guy, me and my buddy argue whos better, he argues Freddy and I argue Jason.

It wasn't until this year that I actually watched these movies. I bought the box set of all six. Then I watched one a night. I really couldn't bring myself to watch more than one a day. I had to watch a comedy after each of them, so I would sleep easier.
