  Return of the Jedi (1983)

description written by member Thom:

In the final installment of George Lucas' original Star Wars opus, the Rebel Alliance has its show down with the Galactic Empire as Luke (Mark Hamill) struggles to accept his identity and restore some semblance of humanity to his father, Darth Vader (voiced by James Earl Jones), after rescuing Han Solo (Harrison Ford) from the evil clutches of the slug-gangster Jabba the Hutt.

Mark Hamill gave an excellent performance along with Carrie Fisher and Billy Dee Williams under the direction of Richard Marquand, the writer of Nowhere to Run and The Eye of the...

Return of the Jedi Movie Review by Jenny (6/7/2007)

As long as I can remember, my friends and acquaintances have sat around and debated: Which of the three (excluding the three most recent Star Wars movies) is your favorite?

To this day, everyone I've ever known and had this debate with has said their favorite would be "Empire Strikes Back", hands down. They love how Luke...
