Porky's (1982)

Reviled by critics and embraced by the public during its initial run (1981), Porky's is interesting to watch after all these years. What holds up about this horny coming-of-age tale is remarkable. You know, thinking back on this movie I remembered it as being a "dirty" movie (that meaning including jokes with nudity and talking about the unspeakable penis) and that as a youngun' I didn't really get it or think that it was very funny.
Watching it with adult eyes, I really don't get it. PORKY'S is crude, stupidly...

Film director Bob Clark's breakout success came with this film.
It is Florida in the 50s and Pee Wee (Dan Monahan) desperately wants to get laid. His friends arrange trip to Porky's, a redneck sleaze joint built over a mangrove swamp (a sad disappearing thing in Florida).
