Grease 2 (1982)

The sequel to the 1978 hit movie, GREASE 2 is set in the early 1960’s when a new British student, Michael Carrington (Caulfield), rides into town and joins the ranks at Rydell High. A book nerd who immediately falls for the blonde bombshell leader of the Pink Ladies, Stephanie Zinone (Pfeiffer), Michael finds himself smitten, but out of his element. Knowing that the Pink Ladies are the hippest clique of chicks at Rydell, who only date their equals in coolness - the T-Birds, Michael sets out to turn from a geek to a greaser to see if he can win the gorgeous Stephanie’s heart. OK, so this is a fairly simple minded musical which only got made because the previous one became a classic. However, it's still a fun and light hearted musical that is fun to watch in and of itself. Most people give it too hard of a time because they liked the first movie so much and compare this to it. I see them as two...

Most people are not aware that GREASE 2 even exist. Now the original main actors are NOT back......which is usually a death sentence for any sequel, but even though this film was not a success I actually enjoy it as much if not more then GREASE.

this movie would have been good IF it wouldn't had been put as a sequel to grease! I was very dissapointed when i seen this movie for the first time, i hate sequeals that don't have any of the same characters as the first. It was made in good intensions, and in my eyes basically failed. It should have been renamed.

One of the worst sequels of all time. I give this film one whole star only because Judy Garland's daughter Lorna Luft co-stars as one of the pink ladies.
This is a stupid idea, with horrible songs that sucks from beginning to end.
If not for Luft's voice, this would be a half-star, thank goodness there was some talent...
