This one of better war thrillers, and they just don't make them like this anymore. I haven't seen the film, but heard that it was fantastic. It is an extremely realistic view of madness and tension. If you had six stars I would give it a six. This movie is a far cry from the usual, sanitized U-boat and American submarine movies, i.e. The Enemy Below.
