Prom Night (1980)

When it comes to an expressive set of lungs for horror, it's hard to match Jamie Lee Curtis, who set the standard for nonstop screaming in Halloween. She built her reputation as a scream queen in such subsequent outings as The Fog, Terror Train, and this similarly themed and relatively subpar horror outing. When you see the name Leslie Nielsen in a cast these days, you don't expect it to be anything other than slapstick. And considering what a small role he plays in the film, it's interesting that he got top billing when the credits started rolling. Guess he was the most well-known name at the time.

This is a horror film i've always wanted to see but have never came across it on tv or in any dvd shops.
