This is one of the infamous video nasties that was banned in Britain, and eventually released uncut in 2004. It goes by the name Alien Contamination in the "R" rated version in the US.
It was an obvious attempt to cash in on Alien, but based entirely on Earth for budgetary purposes.

I really hated this flick. Its production values were totally lunk-headed.
Alien Contamination reminded me of a Made-for-TV Movie, but it wasn't. It had actually played in the movie theaters for a short spell.
