The tension in this movie is so thick you could cut it with aknife, unless that is if you like russian roulette ,, enter viet namm , the true grim endepth details of the life of pows...This film was almost down right disturbing,, the reality was riveting,,yes it was long but it needed to be, a winner of best picture who...

This film is atypical, it is very long, but it is also very rewarding. If you are a fan of 70's experimental film then you will love this, if you get bored easily, don't even bother.
This film is about those who return from war, what impact it has on those they left behind and what the reprecussions of a futile war are...
