Grease (1978)

Two young teens from opposite sides of the track meet up during the summer and have a romance thinking the girl will be going home to Australia. When she shows up at the local high school at the start of the school year, the boy is pressured to remain true to his hoodlum status and rejects the girl for being too much of a goodie-goodie.

I am a GREASE nut! My husband gets mad because anytime it is on TV I make him watch it and I sing every song with the movie. I guess it is one of those movies that I watched as a kid and just never got tired of.

This has been one of my all time favorite movies for years. I love the musical and the theme and the love story intertwined. I know that there are many people who are obsessed with "Grease". I think I am the only one who finds "Grease 2" a guilty pleasure. Admittedly, I like "Grease", and the only reason is Stockard Channing as Rizzo. She is perfectly cast.
Her performance stands out even against John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John who...

Ok if your over 18 and female I'm pretty sure you've seen this film at least twice and sang along to the songs.....its ok you can admit it, hell you might have even owned the sound track (I did...but it was on vinyl so that makes it ok). This movie was a must for any teenager in the 80's and maybe even 90's.
