One on One 1977

description written by member CG:

Small-town boy gets basketball scholarship to big city university. Sweet and tender David vs Goliath story of a boy becoming a man, featuring powerful action on the basketball court. Written by the star, Robby Benson, showcasing a young talent who's more than a teen movie pin up. Displaying vulneralbility in his first "grown up" relationship, countered with heated confrontations between himself and his coach make this film a must-see. One of the best films of its time, it has been duplicated over the years, but never matched.
