Small-town boy gets basketball scholarship to big city university.
Sweet and tender David vs Goliath story of a boy becoming a man,
featuring powerful action on the basketball court. Written by the
star, Robby Benson, showcasing a young talent who's more than a teen
movie pin up. Displaying vulneralbility in his first "grown up"
relationship, countered with heated confrontations between himself and
his coach make this film a must-see. One of the best films of its time,
it has been duplicated over the years, but never matched.

It wasn't just that Robby Benson was great to look at, which didn't hurt either, but that he showed, at a young age, what a dynamic talent he possessed.
