Alice Sweet Alice (Communion) (1976)

Paula Sheppard is Alice, a pouty, petulant problem child at that awkward age living with her precocious little sister Karen (Brooke Shields) and single mom. When Karen is murdered during her first communion and Alice takes her place in line, suspicion immediately falls on her. Boy, did this film take me back to my childhood. Of course, it was set before the late sixties when the reforms of Vatican II changed the liturgy to English instead of the Latin used throughout this film.
