From Amazon: Cooley High has frequently been compared to American Graffiti, and for good reason. Like that classic, Cooley High has a loose, multicharacter structure, autobiographical origins, and the rich texture of its time. Cooley High Movie Review by Zara (1/2/2008)

I know that there is a large group of people who have found this movie to be historical in whatever sense, but as I fought my way through it, I just didn't get it. Filmed in '75 about the year of '64, the actors are raw and unpolished. Which is a nice way of saying bad.

Most of what goes on between the group of buddies...
