I am one of the few living beings who disliked Fellini's celebrated 8 1/2. I found it dull, self-indulgent, and pretentious. But at least I could understand why others would like it. This particular film of Fellini's, Armarcord, leaves me entirely befuddled and at a loss as to why any person with a brain would ever ever...

i personally think that this is one of the best MOVIES ever made, and this is more than just the usual phrase you use for any film you like - no, i mean it: it is perfect and pure cinema.

Like all Fellini films this follows a large cast as they mingle and intermingle. Unlike many of his films there is no dashing male lead, no Marcello Mastrionni, and no real protagonist.
