Released in 1970 - COLOSSUS: THE FORBIN PROJECT could very well be considered the grand-daddy of all 'Computer-Run-Amok' Movies. It's compelling, well-crafted story was based on the Sci-Fi novel (of the same name) written by DENNIS F. JONES.
