Beatles, The: Help! 1965

description written by member Zara:

The lads from Liverpool light up the big screen in this delightful 1965 spy movie spoof that finds the mop tops traveling the globe to escape some religious fanatics intent on reclaiming a sacrificial ring stuck on Ringo's finger. Co-stars Eleanor Bron, Victor Spinetti and Leo McKern add to the zaniness, while the film's fantastic soundtrack features some of the Fab Four's most memorable hits, including the title track and "Ticket to Ride."

Beatles, The: Help! Movie Review by Movie Addict (11/16/2007)

I don't know why I remember this film as being in black and white. But, I guess that was A Hard days Night, I remember. With this newly restored version, it is brilliant color and the sound is great.

This is The Beatles when they were young and pure - their suit wearing early years. The songs would probably be considered...
