36 Saints 2013
New York City. Halloween. A group of hip students: Aspiring actress EVE MASTERS, her athletic boyfriend SEBASTIAN, bad boy gone good DOMINIC, tough but sweet JOAN, hip hop mogul on the rise, VALENTINE and beautiful, carefree MARIA are trying to decide how to celebrate the lives of their lost "brothers and sisters" who died suddenly in a tragic plane crash. As the one year anniversary of their death approaches our group is planning a memorial to celebrate their lives when mysteriously the murders of a young Priest (Father Esteban Lopez) and a young Spanish boy (Jesus Ochoa) occur at the same time. Our three lead detectives: JOSEPH, MICHAEL and FANNY are confronted with the horror of a possible serial murderer loose on the streets of Manhattan. As the Halloween "celebration" memorial approaches, one by one, our students begin disappearing and turning up dead. But "who" is behind these murders is the journey our detectives will take our audience on, as a race with the clock begins ticking. Is it Professor Okafor, the students professor? Or one or all of our three mysterious visitors that appear in the beginning of the film? Is it the lovable Miss "L"? Or maybe, the all knowing Father Judas Neri? Or the unimaginable, one of New York's finest? Our detectives begin linking each of these murders with the "why" and come up with the only possible reason through wisdom and ancient mysticism that would connect them. It then becomes evident as to who the killer is and who they are ultimately after. This realization becomes the only light amongst much darkness, in which our good versus evil chilling story unfolds. Mixed with twists and turns, a natural who done it mystery unravels and becomes the ultimate to our audience and in it's climax will have our audience wondering if they are indeed the chosen one or are they simply "one of the ones chosen?" as the hunt is on to find our 36th SAINT.
