Battle: Los Angeles Movie Review by Shannon (5/10/2012)

This movie is a much smaller focus of INDEPENDENCE DAY minus all the soap opera and many subplots. Instead, it focuses on one group of U.S. forces fighting an alien invasion into L.A. The whole world is under siege but the tale is mostly kept on said forces with a gritty feel. I was pleasantly surprised that the characters...

Battle: Los Angeles Movie Review by Filmkiller (6/15/2011)

I skipped Battle: Los Angeles when it came to the theater mostly because I'd heard too many reviews bill the film as pure action cheese - even comparing it to Michael Bay's garbage, which is f*cking insulting; Michael Bay should take notes. The whole production would likely collapse with the introduction of a single valid thought or idea....

Battle: Los Angeles Movie Review by Mike Thomas (3/12/2011)

When the first showing of the day of a movie that just opened the day just before is being shown in one of the last theaters in the complex, the ones usually delegated to the movies that are soon to be going out the door, that's never a good sign.

BATTLE: LOS ANGELES tells the story of a day in the life of a platoon of...
