Dinner for Schmucks 2010

description written by member Zara:

Tim Conrad (Paul Rudd) hosts a weekly dinner party where he invites his friends to bring along the saddest, most pathetic loser they can find. But when the ultimate schmuck (Steve Carell) arrives, his actions somehow turn everyone else into the losers. Comic heavy hitters Zach Galifianakis and Ron Livingston lend able support in director Jay Roach's (Austin Powers) darkly humorous film, an adaptation of the French comedy The Dinner Game.

Dinner for Schmucks Movie Review by Filmkiller (3/8/2011)

Do you like to laugh? Do you appreciate when someone can adeptly illustrate that the wealthy use the underclass for their own shallow enrichment? Do you currently hold the view that Steve Carrell and Zach Galifianakis are funny?

If yes, under no circumstances should you see Dinner For Schmucks, which is not A film, so...

Dinner for Schmucks Movie Review by Martin (9/23/2010)

Both Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd appealed to me in the movie, which sees Rudd as an office exec, up for the chance for promotion if he can win a competition the big boys in his place of work have. These guys basicly see who can find the biggest idiot to invite to a huge meal so that they can poke fun at him, and Rudd hopes...

Dinner for Schmucks Movie Review by Jarrod (8/2/2010)

‘Dinner for Schmucks' is a remake of The Dinner Game, a French film that was a big hit on its home turf, but failed to make much of an impact on American audiences. Heading up the American version is director Jay Roach, who collaborated with Mike Myers on the Austin Powers franchise, and with Ben Stiller on Meet the...
