I think this is a classic example of a movie that would've benefitted from an earlier release... fifteen to twenty years earlier. In point of fact, the first film that comes to mind for comparison for me is Jim Cameron's True Lies (1994), a film that was among the last of the sacchrine clueless screaming heroine...
