Based on the graphic novels of a similar title this story focuses upon a Civil War veteran with special powers and chief among them is speaking with the dead. Megan Fox plays the "I love you, Jonah, but don't make me say it" wh*re with a not so heart of gold who ends up being pretty good with guns herself as demonstrated...

Jonah Hex is a blend of noir western, steampunk, and pop-actioner. Problem? The first two of those three genres aren't especially financially successful on the silver screen and clash on a fundamental level with the third. "Jonah Hex" has to be the first comic-book movie I've seen that went by virtually un-noticed at the cinema. Not surprising really, seeing as I (and no-one else it seems) had ever heard of the comic before this, and the film itself has been universally slated.

'Jonah Hex' seems to be a rather obscure character from DC Comics, overshadowed, I guess, by Superman and Batman. I knew almost nothing about this movie before seeing it, except that it starred Josh Brolin in the title role, and John Malkovich as the well-spoken villain. That alone may be worth the price of admission. ...
