Robin Hood 2010

description written by member Zara:

Russell Crowe stars in a double role as Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham in director Ridley Scott's big-budget twist on the celebrated legend. In this version, the honorable sheriff doggedly pursues the not-so-noble Robin Hood, while the fair Maid Marian (Cate Blanchett) is caught in the middle of a romantic love triangle. The rousing action drama also stars Mark Strong as Guy of Gisborne.

Robin Hood Movie Review by Shannon (4/24/2012)

The style of this tale is not like Errol Flynn in THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD nor even the Kevin Costner in ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES. In fact, the idea that Robin Hood was more of a commoner goes back to the older legends of Robin Hood before the spin that he was the Earl of Huntington. There's little about stealing...

Robin Hood Movie Review by Jarrod (5/15/2010)

The story of Robin Hood has inspired many Hollywood productions, from the classic Erroll Flynn swashbuckler to the popular, though critically-panned, Kevin Costner vehicle, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, to a Mel Brooks parody, and a animated Disney film.

This latest version comes from Ridley Scott, and was originally...

Robin Hood Movie Review by Filmkiller (5/15/2010)

It's harder to review mediocre flicks than those exceptionally good (Seven) or those laughably bad (Transformers 2). The lack of polarity leaves nothing upon which to dote or make ribald jest and, like most high budget fare these days, polarity's what Robin Hood could've used; a decisive commitment to be a certain kind of...

Robin Hood Movie Review by Martin (5/13/2010)

Whichever way I looked at it I had already seen this movie! Everybody in the crowded cinema I went to see it in seemed to love it, while I just thought it was OK! Yet another re-invention of a character we all know the basics about? Sigh!

This is basicly "Robin Hood begins" made by Ridley Scott, and starring Russel Crowe,...

Robin Hood Movie Review by RONNIE (5/1/2010)

Robin Hood, this movie was right on target for, excitement, adventure, action packed sword fighting and bow and arrow shooting, even cupid with his bow and arrow got into the act with a love scene. The movie was around two and a half hours long; however, with all the action you would not think it was that long. Going in...
