Date Night 2010

description written by member Zara:

Married, middle-aged and with children is hardly a recipe for romance, but Tina Fey and Steve Carrell are determined to keep the spark alive in this Shawn Levy-helmed comedy about a date night gone horribly awry. Joining Fey and Carrell in this ensemble cast film are Mark Wahlberg, who plays a securities expert, James Franco as a slightly slow con man and Leighton Meester as the couple's babysitter.

Date Night Movie Review by Zara (9/12/2010)

Only vaguely humourous in a couple of oddly spaced out places, I was more impressed that they were able to get away with the level of heavy sexual innuendo in the film that they did and still procure a PG-13 rating. Goes to prove once again why I hate the presence of the MPAA. I guess as long as you have old farts who like...

Date Night Movie Review by Martin (5/21/2010)

"Date night" is a short but funny comedy which I enjoyed despite endless people telling me to avoid it. I think its all down to how funny you find Steve Carell, and although some of his usual shouty loud moments are more irritating than funny, most of the film made me laugh.

Carell and on-screen wife Tina Fey are getting...

Date Night Movie Review by Jarrod (4/12/2010)

One reason I liked 'Date Night' so much was because of its stars, Tina Fey and Steve Carell, effortless and inventive comic performers who never get overwhelmed by the frantic and silly plot of this enjoyable action/comedy, which wisely focuses more on the comedy, even while stringing together a series of perfunctory...
