Hot Tub Time Machine 2010

description written by member Zara:

Fueled by Red Bull, vodka and nostalgia for their younger, wilder days, a group of aging best friends travels back in time to 1987, where they get the chance to relive the best year of their lives. And their time machine? Well, it's a hot tub. John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Lizzy Caplan, Crispin Glover and Sebastian Stan ("Gossip Girl") co-star in this out-of-the-box comedy that takes time travel to a whole new level.

Hot Tub Time Machine Movie Review by Joe (7/19/2011)

Hot Tub Time Machine is a rowdy, stupid, immature, adolescent film that proves one thing only these nonsensical ridicule of films, are indeed, absolutely HILARIOUS.
Three friends take their miserable lives with them for a reunion at a ski resort club, and even Adam's (John Cusack) nephew tags along. (Clark Duke). The...

Hot Tub Time Machine Movie Review by Martin (5/23/2010)

This flick could of gone either way. It could of been a silly but hilarious comedy movie, but as it is is a silly but most of the time unfunny comedy movie.

Things looked promising, with an impressive cast, and start of promising, with at least the first half of the film being pretty funny. Like so many comedys these days...

Hot Tub Time Machine Movie Review by Zara (5/18/2010)

You know, maybe it's because I was alive and not quite the same age as the people in this movie were back in 1986 (I was a "tween" and fully dialed into John Cusack and John Hughes and the like) but there are parts of this movie which are just stupidly funny to me. I didn't consider this to be a total laugh riot, as there...

Hot Tub Time Machine Movie Review by Mike Thomas (4/17/2010)

HOT TUB TIME MACHINE, a mindless distraction, just proves how great BACK to the FUTURE really was.

Three friends: Adam (John Cusack, of Brat Pack fame), the pathetic loser of an insurance salesman who gave up his expected life of travel and adventure just to drift from failed relationship to failed relationship, Nick...

Hot Tub Time Machine Movie Review by Jarrod (4/8/2010)

'Hot Tub Time Machine' is obviously not interested in delivering a sophisticated or high-minded viewing experience; it repeatedly acknowledges its silliness and the dizzying absurdity of its plot. I was surprised though by its vulgarity; this is a hard-R goofball comedy, but only a handful of the jokes actually work;...
