Where the Day Takes You (1992)

Director Marc Rocco's 1992 movie looks at a band of addicts and runaways who call the streets of Hollywood home. Living off what they score panhandling, stealing and pimping themselves, they form a makeshift family with King (Dermot Mulroney) as their unofficial leader. But his tenacity can't keep them all out of trouble, and when hell breaks loose, their tenuous existence becomes further threatened.
