Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant 2009

Things get freaky fast for 14-year-old Darren Shan (Chris Massoglia) when he runs into a traveling circus that's chockfull of sideshow oddities, makes the acquaintance of a vampire (John C. Reilly) and receives a life-changing bite on the neck. Now, as the newest member of the mysterious Cirque du Freak troupe, Darren keeps company with a bearded lady (Salma Hayek) and unwittingly sparks a war between the vampires and their longtime rivals.

While I was actually in a lot of pain when I went to see this movie, hindering me from giving it my full attention, I'll say that for the most part I found this movie entertaining enough. I like movies with supernatural powered creatures, with the exception of twinkling vampires, I suppose.
