The Box Movie Review by Martin (4/20/2010)

The Only reason I had any interest in seeing this film, was that its based on a Richard Matheson story that I have. I'd heard it was a stinker, but not everyone out there seemed to be agreeing with this overall negative opinion, so I thought there was still some hope of it being at least an average movie.

The Idea is...

The Box Movie Review by Zara (3/19/2010)

Perhaps I'm going to be the first person to bring this up, perhaps not, I haven't read all of the reviews. The movie is long and overblown, needing to have been wrapped up quicker and with less sparkle which wasn't necessary at all. Kelly seems to enjoy wrapping his films like the friend you have who has all those ribbons...

The Box Movie Review by Ben (12/8/2009)

I feel really bad for writer/director Richard Kelly. All three films he has made thus far have been treated with contempt and dismissed before they even made it to the big screen. Granted, "Donnie Darko" (which has since become one of my all time favorite movies) has achieved a well deserved cult following, but it bombed...

The Box Movie Review by Lloyd (11/18/2009)

I think the 2 main actors in this movie ruin the film; the movie is deep and intellectual, it makes you think, really, and I think that is why this movie is not doing well; frank langella is awesome as always as the creepy giver of the box; there are questions you will ask but it keeps you interested in the movie unlike...

The Box Movie Review by Jarrod (11/9/2009)

Richard Kelly made his cinematic debut with the magnificent Donnie Darko in 2001, but regrettably seems unable to duplicate the brilliance of that particular film, having made the disastrous Southland Tales in 2006, and for his third feature, returns to a story that was already adapted as a Twilight Zone episode, a story...
