The Invention of Lying (2009)
description written by member Zara:
In a world where no one has ever lied, fiction does not exist and movies consist of actors simply reading historical facts, unsuccessful screenwriter Mark (Ricky Gervais) gains incredible personal power as he begins intentionally saying things that are not true. Gervais and Matthew Robinson co-write and co-direct this hilarious comedy that also stars Jason Bateman, Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Tina Fey and Jonah Hill.
