The Surrogates (2009)

Based on Robert Venditti's graphic novel of the same name, director Jonathan Mostow's sci-fi thriller is set in a futuristic world in which all interaction is carried out by robot surrogates acting on the behalf of their human counterparts. When a series of mysterious surrogate murders occurs, police agent Greer (Bruce Willis) is forced to leave his home for the first time in years to investigate. Radha Mitchell and Ving Rhames co-star.
