Inglourious Basterds Movie Review by BillyBob (1/11/2013)

With Brad's boringness + Quentin's quirkiness + "dialogue overload" (aka. Talking the audience, literally, to death) this wonky picture was a bonafide triple-whammy when it came to serious WW2 Drama.

And, when it came to "dialogue overload", director Tarantino certainly did rely far-far too heavily on this decidedly tired...

Inglourious Basterds Movie Review by Filmkiller (6/9/2010)

There are so many things that could be discussed regarding Inglorious Basterds. Now, part of that just goes with it being a Quentin Tarentino film, as year after year Hollywood is quick to annoint yet another filmmaker as the next him. Meanwhile the old guard seems to be bunching up their misfires with alarming regularity,...

Inglourious Basterds Movie Review by Mike Thomas (6/6/2010)

The thing that impressed me most about this film is that Tarantino's biggest weakness as a filmmaker is his greatest asset here. Quentin's films tend to be a bit talky, that is, in excessively detailed dialogue. Plainly put, his characters talk like comic-book characters! Here, it works, simply because of the subject...

Inglourious Basterds Movie Review by Martin (1/9/2010)

Having not been that impressed with Quentin Tarintinos last few movies I wasn't sure if I was going to like his latest, despite everything good that I'd heard about it. This is probably his best film for a while though. Infact, for me, its his best since "Pulp fiction."

Featuring a welcome complicated plot to take out...

Inglourious Basterds Movie Review by Ben (10/11/2009)

At a running time of 153 minutes, "Inglourious Basterds" is one of those rare movies that really takes its time. There's no big rush to get from one big action set piece to the next which has been the case with just every movie that gets released in the summer. Even while The Weinstein Company had to work with Universal...
