Inglourious Basterds Movie Review by Zara (8/31/2009)

I have an ongoing argument with a friend of mine about the legitimacy of Tarantino's greatness. He is a film school graduate who hates that Tarantino is lauded for screenwriting when there are so many quotes throughout his most cult idolized flick PULP FICTION that include derogatory terms towards black people.

Yet in...

Inglourious Basterds Movie Review by Ben (10/11/2009)

At a running time of 153 minutes, "Inglourious Basterds" is one of those rare movies that really takes its time. There's no big rush to get from one big action set piece to the next which has been the case with just every movie that gets released in the summer. Even while The Weinstein Company had to work with Universal...

Inglourious Basterds Movie Review by Lloyd (8/27/2009)

I am not a Tarantino fan but I enjoyed this in your face, loud, humorous, violent, tension filled movie with yet another great soundtrack from a Tarantino film. I cannot say enough about the acting, it is to die for, some of the violence I did not expect so be forewarned. The actors who appear in this movie are terrific,...

Inglourious Basterds Movie Review by Tony (8/26/2009)

When going in to see this movie I had no bad expectations knowing that Quentin Tarantino has not actually failed in making a bad movie. The second Inglorious Basterds started rolling and the credits began, I knew I was going to enjoy this movie. The reason why Quentin Tarantino movies are what they've come to be is because...

Inglourious Basterds Movie Review by Jarrod (8/21/2009)

You either love Quentin Tarantino, or you hate him. I fall into the first category, and have been an admirer of his work since Reservoir Dogs. 'Inglourious Basterds' is his best film since Pulp Fiction. There is a lot of hype surrounding the movie, which made its debut at Cannes, and marched off with an award for one...
