Aliens in the Attic (2009)

Ashley Tisdale leads a group of teenagers who must band together to protect their Maine vacation home from some pesky houseguests: a fleet of aliens holed up on the top floor of the house. The adventure comedy, which was shot in Auckland, New Zealand, also stars Robert Hoffman, Carter Jenkins, Gillian Vigman, Doris Roberts and "Saturday Night Live" alums Tim Meadows and Kevin Nealon.

'Aliens in the Attic' is an almost inexcusably lazy film, suitable enough for children I guess, but bound to bore most adults to tears. I can see myself liking this movie back in the 80s, when I was around five or six years old, and thrilled by stuff like Gremlins and The Goonies, much, much better movies that would stand...
