Bickford Shmeckler (Patrick Fugit) has ideas that will change the world, recorded in a prized journal. When the book goes missing, Bickford scours the campus to get it back, bumping up against a beautiful coed (Olivia Wilde), a homeless lunatic (Matthew Lillard) and a fellow geek (John Cho) along the way. The second of two movies I watched this weekend which featured a lot of good names but little if any deep subject matter, this movie focuses on college campus life and a book that a neurotic, self-obsessed student writes which ends up getting stolen by the campus artsy slut who passes it along to the campus wannabe...
