Alexander the Last (2009)
Focusing on the varied attractions that a married actress and her sister harbor, director Joe Swanberg crafts a film that illuminates the difficulties of remaining monogamous when creative and sexual temptations abound. What emerges is a finely wrought portrait of a still-tender marriage in this indie drama co-starring Jess Weixler, Justin Rice, Barlow Jacobs, Josh Hamilton and Jane Adams.
